YMCA Mission Statement: "To put Christian principals into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all."
At the YMCA Camp Indian Springs, we place a great empahsis on Cabin Life for our campers. Campers spend time with their leaders developing life long friendships. Cabin Life includes chapel, cabin choice, devotions and may spend time each day learning responsibility through shared clean up times, as well as providing KP (Kitchen Patrol) at various meals throughout the week.
From the time your camper arrives, leaders will begin introducing your camper to Cabin Life by learning camper names and introducing them other campers by playing name games and other getting to know you activities. Typical Camp Day 7:15 Wake up 4:40 Cabin Activity/Swim Time/Camp Store (Older Campers) 10:30 Cabin Lights Out (Older Campers)
Throughout the week, your camper's cabin group may have the opportunity at the following activities. Swimming, Archery, team challenge (team building activities) skits, songs & lip syncs, arts & crafts, nature and various other activities that promote cabin unity.
YMCA Camp Indian Springs will offer opportunities to develop and grow spirit, mind and body by providing positive leadership and encouraging a fun environment through an attitude of service to all.
