Due to lack of enrollment the YMCA will not be offering an after school program this semester. Please check back with us in late November for the possibility of a program for January 2008.

**Program begins once students arrive at camp and

pick up is between 6:00-6:15 pm**

   Many of you may have all heard about “MYSPACE.” It is a place where you can chat on-line and be a part of a community while sitting in front of your computer just typing and searching away. How boring is that! When you can be out riding a horse, skateboarding, swimming, or helping out with community service projects with friends. Instead of staying at home all alone, hang out with friends at YMCA Camp Indian Springs. Don’t hang out on MYSPACE hang out at MY PLACE. 

   MY PLACE is an after school program for middle school students in Wakulla County that they can call their own place and participate in productive activities with friends.

   It is a place where they can learn about horsemanship and ride, a place where they can learn new skate tricks and improve their skills, a place where you can swim in a spring, hang out with friends, and work on community service projects.

    It is a place where you will be safe and cared for. Y? Because we are the YMCA Camp Indian Springs and we want you to have place that can be called your own to hang out, have fun, be safe, and learn new things. Take ownership now and come to camp to not call it the Other Guys Place but MY PLACE.

   MY PLACE is a fee based program that is opened to all Riversprings Middle School students. Your fee provides Monday-Thursday bus transportation from school to camp, an afternoon snack, leaders that are trained for their activity area, activity equipment and supplies, and a place where your kids are safe during after school hours.

  Every Friday the student will participate in either an interactive Bible-based Bible Study or Prevention Program along with activities that may include swimming, large group games, or just hang out.
