Greetings from YMCA Camp Indian Springs!

Hello!

      I'd like to welcome you to the Alumni web page and thank you for your interest.

My name is Lesa Culpepper "Super Nova" Camp Director. I became part of the camp staff in 2005 and have fallen in love with what YMCA Camp Indian Springs has to offer not just to campers and staff but to our community as well. I encourage you to check out the website to see how camp has evolved and if you get a chance, to schedule a revisit to camp.

    YMCA Camp Indian Springs Alumni are made up of a group of individuals who have been touched by the impact the YMCA has had on them, and wish to stay connected to each other and the organization. Anyone who has participated in, or provided the programs offered by the YMCA Camp Indian Springs can become part of the Alumni.

If interested in being a part of our Alumni group and get updates on what is going on at camp send your contact information to me. Also, I am in the process of updating our Alumni Page and would love to share those ol' camp pictures, but need your help so please send any camp pictures that you would like to share with others on our website to me as well.

    I hope to grow our alumni base to keep our camp history alive so please feel free to contact me. Check out the information below to see how you can get involved. I look forward to hearing from you.

The Alumni provides opportunities to:

• network with other alumni from different generations and find long lost friends
• reconnect alumni to the YMCA
• attend and assist Alumni-sponsored events (35th Anniversary Coming Up!)
• participate in a work party (April 25, 2009)
• support our Camp Advisory Council
• volunteer at the YMCA Camp Indian Springs
• support the YMCA through fundraising efforts and special event activities
• become involved and interested alumni who continue to "Build Strong"

Did you know that camp gave over $50,000 in camperships for kids to be able to attend a week of camp in 2008 and is anticipating more camperships this summer than last?

The average cost to attend a week of camp for 2009 season is $408.
