Advisory Council

Established as a Board of Managers, the Camp Advisory Council is committed to leading the YMCA Camp Indian Springs into the next generation of camping.

The Advisory Council may provide leadership through the following opportunities:

- Program Volunteers are those whose service relates to program activities at or beyond the YMCA Camp Indian Springs, including but not limited to resident camp, community programs, environmental education, conference programs, adult education, adventure programs, and natural resources programming.

- Facility Volunteers are those whose service relates to the physical plant of the YMCA Camp Indian Springs, including but not limited to maintenance, infrastructure, housekeeping, forestry, and food services.

- Administrative Volunteers are those whose service relates to the administration of the YMCA Camp Indian Springs, including but not limited to finance services, human resources, alumni relations, volunteer relations, front desk/reception operations, marketing/communication and other clerical duties.

- Fundraising Volunteers are those whose service relates to annual giving, capital, grant-based or other contributed income for the YMCA Camp Indian Springs.

- Policy Volunteers are those whose service relates to the overall Tallahassee YMCA Board of Directors, its standing or ad hoc committees, and various advisory capacities.
