Digital Photography

For Campers Entering Grades 8+

We are proud to offer for a 2nd year this New and exciting option for campers entering grades 8 and above. In cooperation with our long time photographer (Dean Dugger) we will be offering a digital photography class as an optional activity.

The class will meet a minimum of two times with a professional photographer as well as daily with our YMCA Camp Indian Springs activity staff to learn this emerging art form. Participants may bring their own digital camera that will be secured each day under lock and key or choose to rent one of Dean’s professional quality SLR cameras.

Not only will campers learn the basics of digital photography, they will assist in providing pictures for our web site as well as our weekly slide show. Each participant will receive a CD of their pictures as well as the end of the week slide show.

Fee for this activity are:

$175 per session regardless of membership

(After May 20, the fee will be $185)
